One can always venture out to USJ Taipan, in this posting is at so called Taipan "2" surrounding. There are quite a number of good food, good place.
Firstly, the Dim Sum place at Hong Kee. One should try the "Siu long pow" (小龍包). Its kinda Shanghai Dim Sum (上海點心), the dumpling is made of some seasoned meat etc. and seal-off with flour skin before its steamed and served. The moment the 小龍包 is put into the mouth a soup-like liquid within the dumpling skin will flow out to give it a distinct taste and experience.

Next is this, its kind of "lor-mai-kai" served in a dumpling skin!! A rather interesting piece of tim sum one can find.
Dislike tim sum? Something Indian? Why not The Nirwana Indian restaurant at USJ 9/5L. A cup of ginger Teh Tarik (pull-tea), Tosai, Masala Tosai.... why not?!?
